An Introduction from the Headteacher - Chris Teal
Welcome to Kimberley School, A Specialist Technology College.
Kimberley School is all about the achievement of our students in a safe and happy environment. We aim to support the development of our students in close partnership with parents and carers. By working closely together and keeping all communication channels open, we are giving our students their best chance of fulfilling their unique, individual potential.
It is because students are individuals that we pride ourselves on the range of opportunities we can offer through Kimberley School. Much of this is through the diverse curriculum on offer, enhanced by our Specialist Technology status. Of course, learning is not restricted to the school day and a great many of our students take advantage of the wide range of activities on offer at lunchtimes and after school.
It is not our intention at Kimberley to operate within a straight jacket of overbearing school rules. The rules are simple and based upon mutual respect for the whole school community. No individual has the right to interfere with the learning of others, place them in danger or make them feel uncomfortable. Naturally, the school can only operate effectively if the rules we have are rigorously enforced.
I hope it becomes apparent to all involved with our school that we value achievement and place importance on praising and celebrating success.
