Year 11 Notices
Welcome to the Year 11 web page! I hope every single student has settled into ‘virtual school’ and that all are well and staying safe along with your families.
This page will be used to upload a variety of different things including Assembly videos with Mr Bacon, top tips to work on throughout the week, positive feedback from teachers/parents and any important information during this time.
Throughout this time, we will ensure to keep in touch with you. Myself, Mr Straw, Miss Smith or your tutors will be contacting you or parents/carers to check that everything is going well with work and to help with any issues that arise. Please continue to check your school emails as well as SMHW moving forward.
Finally, I have already had a huge amount of positive feedback from teachers stating how well Year 11 are doing with the work that has been submitted at present. Continue with the positive work ethos that you have shown throughout the year. Well done on the great start!
Mr Bacon's Top Tips
Start to look at websites for your further education (eg. 6th Form/College/Apprenticeships) to see if there is anything that you can be doing to prepare for your next step.
- Continue to stick to a structured routine each day
- Continue to check Show My Homework for messages from tutors and the pastoral team and make sure that you respond once you have seen them
