At Kimberley School, we keep children safe by:
  • Understanding the role that every member of staff plays in keeping children safe and placing it as paramount.

  • Ensuring all staff have a secure working understanding of statutory guidance for dealing with safeguarding issues in school

  • Ensuring all staff are briefed and trained regularly in current arising issues in safeguarding

  • Having an effective and secure system for reporting and recording safeguarding issues online

Safeguarding children and young people is everyone’s responsibility.

Out-of-hours Safeguarding Concern

If you have concerns for the safety of a child out of school hours, please contact:
•    Nottinghamshire Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub: 0300 500 80 80
•    If you require an urgent response outside of working hours (08:30-17:00), contact Nottinghamshire’s Emergency Duty Team (EDT) on 0300 456 4546.
•    In an emergency call 999
•    To report a crime, call 101
