Thank you for choosing The Kimberley School Sports Centre.
We are proud to support local clubs, instructors, and community groups by providing high-quality facilities in a safe and welcoming environment.

This handbook is designed to help you get the most from your booking and ensure our facilities are looked after for everyone to enjoy.

What makes us different from other Sports Centre?

 

We pride ourselves on first class customer service and excellent facilities.  We have dedicated staff to meet and greet  and ensure the venue is set up as per your original instructions.  The centre has ample car parking spaces for your customers as well as bike racks and lockers.  Additionally we have changing rooms and showers for your convenience together with lockers to store belongings safely.  On site we have vending machines, stocked with hot and cold drinks and snacks.  All of our studios are air conditioned and some rooms for hire also have air conditioning.

 ARRIVAL, DEPARTURE & TIMINGS 

  • Please arrive no earlier than your booked start time

  • Your booking includes set-up and pack-down

  • All participants must leave the facility by the end time

Overrunning may result in additional charges

 ACCESS & SECURITY 

  • Access is via the main sports centre entrance

  • Please do not prop doors open (fire safelty)

  • Only desingated areas may be used by those who booked them (confirmation emails should be at hand for spot checks)

  • Report your lost property to a member of staff leaving contact details so we may reunite if found.

  • Report found property to staff - we advise customers to NOT handle unknown bags.

INDOOR RULES:

  • Non-marking footwear only (Sports Hall) or clean footware for all other indoor spaces

  • No Food

  • Hired eqipment must be returned to a member of staff

  • Dragging of equipment - Items are to be lifted - if in doubt ask a member of staff

  • Music volume must be kept to a reasonable level.

  • Vaping or Smoking - this is striclty forbidden across the whole site.

  • Litter - must be disposed of in the bins provided

  • Leave the space as you found it

  • Report any issues to a member of staff

3G PITCH RULES:

Permitted:

All users are advise to use appropriate boots with Moulded Plastic Studs to protect the playing surface.

NOT Permitted:

The following are NOT permitted on the 3G Pitches at any time:

  • Metal Studs

  • Bladed Studs

  • Chewing gum & food

  • Bikes, Scooters and vehicles of any kind

  • Dogs (including on leads) - unless a registered guide dog

  • Dragging of equipment - Goals are to be lifted - if in doubt ask a member of staff

  • Vaping or Smoking - this is striclty forbidden across the whole site.

  • Litter - must be disposed of in the bins provided

3G Pitch "C" Configurations

Safeguarding & Supervision

  • Groups involving under 18s must be appropriately supervised by an adult

  • Behaviour must be respectful at all times, anti social behaviour will not be tolerated

  • Any safeguarding concerns must be reported immediately to a member of staff

Health & Safety

  • First aid is the responsibility of the hirer, however a first aid kit is available in the site office

  • All accident must be reproted to staff

  • Automated External Defibrillator (AED) is available from the site office in an emergency

  • Fire exits are clearly marked and the route of exit is detailed on the door of the hired room

  • Fire drills take place between 7:00am and 7:30am every monday

  • In the event of a fire, please listen to the audio instructions and leave by the nearest exit when prompted

  • In the event of an evacuation, assemble outside the student support centre, in the marketd bus bays at the front of the sports centre car park

Parking & Access

  • There is amble parking within the sports centre grounds

  • Please park considerately

  • Accessible parking is available, badges should be displayed

  • Do not block emergency routes

  • No overnight parking

Noise & Consideration

  • Please be respectful of neighbouring properties

  • Music and outdoor noise must stop promptly at your booking end time

  • Anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated

Cleanlines & Damage

  • Please dispose of all litter in the bins provided

  • Any damage must be reported immediately to a member of staff

  • Hirers may be charged for damage or excessive cleaning
